For a few weeks now, the Right has been telling us to ignore President Obama’s remarkably stable polling numbers and look elsewhere for “trends” that prove he’s unpopular. First, it was the Dow Jones Industrial Average. But now that the Dow is higher than it was when President Bush left office, what’s the next irrelevant short term trend they’ll turn to?
