Call me a conspiracy theorist, but….

malkinI’m a loyal fan of Michelle Malkin’s Twitter feed. It’s full of the type of hate that gets me going in the morning.

But today I noticed something weird. Over the last few weeks, she’s made three mentions of the energy drink 5-Hour Energy. Granted, it was only three, but something about them stuck out to me.

So I did a search of her blog over the last few months and found this post and this post, both of which not only mention 5-hour Energy, but also include a picture of the product and a link to the website. And they both follow a similar format: (1) Mention that someone appears to have fallen asleep in a public place, (2) suggest that they try 5-Hour Energy, and (3)  add weird ad-like copy such as:

“Sugar free. Only 4 calories. And it may just save your job.”

What’s going on here? Probably nothing, but I intend to find out.
